WHAT MAKES HIM AN AWESOME TUTOR

Patience and the ability to approach a problem from many different perspectives makes me a great tutor. I'm a jack-of-all-trades! I know a little, about a lot of different topics; and using that varying toolbelt from a calm, clear state of mind means I can get through to a student's understanding.

FUN FACTS

Life goal:  Live in a small town growing and cooking my own food!

Words to Live By:  My grandma has said recently that "Everything happens in an instant". I take that to mean we should live every day.

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: For me reading the problem out loud and explaining your ideas or steps. Even if you might look crazy talking to yourself, just find a person or talk to some inanimate object!

Education: Computer Science Major and Game Development Minor from University of Western Ontario

Fave Tech device: My computer for sure. I try to reduce the amount of technology I use, but while I'm making video games that's gonna be difficult

Fave Book: Right now its Salt Fat Acid Heat, its a cookbook about cooking fundamentals instead of just recipes

Fave Song: Instant Crush by Daft Punk. I think I'll always enjoy coming back and listening to their songs.

Fave Outfit: I'm more of a warm weather person so a pair of light pants and a linen shirt would be my favourite.

Fave TV Show: I'm watching Survivor for the first time now, its crazy and really good.

Fave Movie: Memento and 2001 A Space Odyssey. Bullet train might be joining but I can't tell yet.

When you're not crunching numbers: Cooking! I love to cook and try new things in the kitchen. One of my favourite things to make is fresh gnocchi and pesto.

What’s the best thing about you? My peacefulness. Taking time to just breath is so important and I think its been one of the most helpful things in my life.
